The City of New York is seeking a 2026-2027 School Aide for a Secondary School for Law. Under supervision, you will assist teachers, supervise students during entry, lunch, dismissal, and help with clerical tasks. Experience with students and strong attendance are valued.

Hours vary by school; minimum 4 hours per day, five days per week, per the collective bargaining agreement. Bilingual candidates may be considered for language needs.

Aufgaben

• Relieves teachers of non-teaching duties.
• Relieves in yard, hall, lavatory, study hall and monitorial duties.
• Handles, stores and distributes textbooks and supplies.
• Assists with routine clerical work.
• Assists in lunchroom supervision and lunch service.
• Receives children and oversees lunch area and dismissal.
• Supervises daily activities including entry, lunch, and drills.
