Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an Aide for Baileysville Elementary and Middle School. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass the competency test for Aide, as required by WVDE.

Responsibilities

• Be physically able to lift and assist students as needed.
• Provide bus supervision, as needed.
• Aid in classroom teaching including planning and general instruction; participate in extracurricular activities.
• Assist with instruction of students with various handicaps, including care in feeding, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist teachers in implementing instructional programs; work with children in small groups or one-to-one.
• Provide general assistance to students in the classroom.
• Prepare instructional materials as outlined by the teacher.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal and relevant directors.
