Job summary

Amergis, located in Smithtown, NY, is seeking a School Aide to support students needing instructional or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education team. The role may also assist with mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.

Contract is part-time at 30 hours weekly with a pay rate of $22 per hour. Requires a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, TB/health screening as applicable, and being at least 18 years old.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
