Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Sunnyvale, CA to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department. The role may include helping with personal mobility and therapeutic care as directed by health professionals, and coordinating with teachers and the supervising designee.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR if applicable, TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable, a current health

• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Provide support services for personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.

Job description

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
