Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Hesperia, CA for a part-time contract position. The role supports students with instructional and behavioral needs under supervision from the special education team.

The ideal candidate will meet health and safety requirements, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old. Scheduling includes 30 hours per week at $18 per hour, with benefits to eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• The School Aide may provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
