Job summary

Cadence Education in Valencia, CA is seeking a School Age Bus Driver and an Activity Leader who loves working with kids. You will transport school-age students safely, inspect vehicles, monitor behavior, and support afterschool activities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 12 Early Childhood Education units, be 21 or older, meet state bus driver requirements, hold CPR/First Aid, and participate in ongoing training to engage children and families in a warm, collaborative environment.

• Meets all state preschool and bus driver requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-age students from school and ensure a secure ride.
• Keep the vehicle in top condition with daily inspections to meet licensing/DMV standards.
• Monitor student behavior and report concerns to the director.
• Assist with afterschool activities including homework, organized games, crafts, and activities.

Your Role

• Safely transport our school age students from school, ensuring every ride is a happy, secure adventure.
• Keep your vehicle in top shape with daily inspections, ensuring it meets state licensing and DMV standards.
• Monitor behavior, document any concerns, and keep the director in the loop to maintain a smooth ride.
• Work with students grade K-6th afterschool assisting with homework, planning and facilitating organized group games, crafts, and activities.
