Job summary

The Y is seeking SchoolAge Leaders for an after-school program at West Salem Elementary School. The role focuses on enriching activities, healthy eating, and positive relationships with elementary students.

Responsibilities include leading games and STEM activities, building relationships with students and families, and ensuring safe supervision. The position offers part-time hours during the school year, with shifts before and after school.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or at least 16 with additional training provided.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire date.
• Some child development courses or experience preferred.
• Reliability and clear communication.
• Able to work effectively in a team.

• Provide mentorship for participants and maintain behavior expectations for elementary students using positive guidance techniques

Job Description

• SchoolAge Leaders will work on-site at West Salem Elementary School
