Job summary

BrightPath Kids at the Porter Center seeks an early childhood professional to supervise children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and deliver developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with NAEYC standards. You will create engaging activities and partner with families to plan strong care and education.

This full-time role offers a split shift (no evenings or weekends), a childcare discount, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or a CDA credential.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Willingness to work within regular operating hours and meet state criteria.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Curate activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment that supports growth.
• Partner with families to plan for quality care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
