Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Los Ninos and Sierra Vista Elementary Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.

Part-time, non-exempt positions with an $12.00–$16.00 per hour pay range, and employer-paid childcare benefits, are available in Las Vegas, NM. Work hours align with school days, with varied Fridays and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids preferred.
• Required health clearance including TB screening per state rules.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, art, homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program/site policies.
• Support program operations including attendance, registration, and staffing.

Afternoon Program: 3:45 – 6:00 PM

Fridays:

Hours vary between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay:

$12.00 – $16.00 per hour
Payday: Every other Friday

Position Responsibilities

• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
