Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. is seeking drivers to operate school buses for field trips, sports events, and more. Paid CDL training and flexible schedules are offered, with afternoon/evening/weekend hours available.

The pay rate is $27/hour. Applicants must be 21+, have 3+ years with a valid license, and a clean driving record. You will drive to diverse locations, perform pre/post trip checks, and comply with state and federal regulations, while maintaining CDL and school bus certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license for 3+ consecutive years.
• Satisfactory driving record (no suspensions).
• Ability to pass background check (CORI & SORI).
• CDL B with S&P endorsements or willing to obtain.
• Willing to drive to a variety of locations.
• Flexible with last-minute changes.
• Maintain CDL and school bus certifications per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus to transport passengers to and from field trips, sporting events, etc., with provided directions.
• Assess traffic and road conditions and monitor passenger behavior.
• Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
• Maintain CDL and state school bus certifications per guidelines.
• Assist passengers onto and off the vehicle when necessary.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks.
