Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 care for a student in a school setting during daytime hours. This role offers a consistent schedule and the chance to make a direct impact on a student’s wellbeing.

Responsibilities include monitoring the student, coordinating with school staff, and ensuring safety throughout the school day. Active RN license, health certificate, PPD/Chest X-ray, and BLS are required, with one year of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license currently active in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility RN contract or state regulation.
• PPD or Chest X-ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to a student throughout the school day.
• Support students with complex medical needs.
• Monitor and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with school staff and care teams.
• May accompany student to and from school on the bus.
