The University at Albany is accepting applications for the tenure-track faculty position of Scholarly Communication Librarian at the rank of assistant or senior assistant librarian. This position is responsible for developing and executing the advancement of scholarly communication strategies at UAlbany in alignment with the Institutional Priorities . Reporting to the Director of Academic Success, the successful candidate leads the University Libraries' suite of scholarly communication services including copyright, author rights, and scholarly publishing. This position advances scholarly communication initiatives by developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders at University and library faculty, staff, and students.
Research, publication, and service to the Libraries, University, and profession are expected to satisfy criteria for continuing appointment (tenure) and promotion.
