Job summary

Independence Preparatory Academy in Fairfield, AL seeks a Scholar Enrichment Coach (Character Education) to guide K–3 students in developing teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and healthy habits aligned with SOAR values.

The role requires at least 2 years of college coursework or an Associate’s degree and 2–3+ years working with children. Competitive salary between $40,000 and $45,000 for the 2026-2027 school year.

Independence Preparatory Academy is a new, academically challenging, highly structured, and joyful K-8 school in Fairfield, AL. We will continue to grow until we reach a total capacity of 485 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. To achieve our vision, we seek a Scholar Enrichment Coach (Character Education) who has at least 2 years of college coursework or an Associate’s degree (preferred) and at least 2-3+ years of professional experience working with children in education, youth development, counseling, leadership development, or related fields. The salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $45,000. Salary is competitive and aligned to experience and internal equity.
