Today’s world can be intense and stressful, and it’s taking an unprecedented toll on kids, teens, and families. Bend Health’s collaborative care model relies on therapy to help families manage the ups and downs of everyday life. These challenges could involve managing emotions, challenging negative thinking, and reducing stress and anxiety.

We are looking for a full-time, Scheduling Specialist I who ispassionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care. This position reports to the Director of Care Ops.

Hours:
  • 11-8 PST (You can live in any time zone in the US)
What you’ll do:
  • Member scheduling related activities for across all services
  • Lead and manage ad hoc scheduling requests such as provider late cancellations, no-shows, bulk provider reassignments, ensuring coverage for members
  • Assign new providers to bend platforms
  • Lead the scheduling priority work queue, update providers on necessary activities to ensure members adhere to the care schedule.
  • Lead and drive scheduling related platform implementations, improvements, and processes.
  • Assist in coordinating provider Paid Time Off requests, ensuring members have coverage for outages.
  • Manage calendar activities and appointments as necessary.
  • Participate in training on our proprietary curriculum and collaborative care model
Core Competencies
  • Customer Engagement: Proficiency in connecting and building rapport with caregivers and ability to communicate Bend Health’s services clearly
  • Process Management and Coordination: Experience with onboarding, member engagement, support processes, scheduling, insurance verification and resolution of various barriers
  • Empathy and Compassion: Ability to connect with and support caregivers and families during the onboarding process
  • Attention to Detail and Quality Assurance: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance in documentation and a proven knowledge of managing workflows
  • Digital Health Expertise: Familiarity with digital health environments and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with a track record or success in managing client onboarding and engagement
  • Mission-Driven and Passionate about Mental Health: A deep commitment and enthusiasm for working in a mission-driven organization focused on increasing access to mental health services for kids, teens and young adults
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's in a psychology related field (unlicensed) or certified coach with experience in mental health
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with high volume workloads
  • Organized, detail oriented and excited by a dynamic environment
  • Warm and engaging
  • Passionate about helping kids and teens achieve goals
  • Bilingual abilities are preferred

The salary for United States residents is $40-50K/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Bend Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
