Job description

Linesight is recruiting a Scheduling Lead in New York, permanent, full time and based on site. The post builds project schedules covering the full scope, milestones and timelines using critical path method, and structures the integrated programme so that it can be reviewed at several levels of detail. Baselining is a named duty, with a clear method required and periodic updates managed against it.

The holder negotiates and mediates timelines and interdependencies between project partners, reports on progress with supporting analysis, and reviews externally produced schedules against scheduling good practice. The role facilitates interactive planning and pull planning sessions, attends risk analysis workshops, supports the quantitative risk analysis process, and resource loads programmes where the project team requires it. Writing the scheduling standards and procedures sits with this post.

It also leads and mentors an established team of schedulers, with responsibility for their oversight and professional development, and ensures the programme follows the project execution plan and the contracting, procurement and project control strategies.
