Job summary

Mettler Toledo in Nutley, NJ seeks a Scheduling Analyst - Dispatcher to organize and optimize daily Field Service Technician schedules, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations. This on-site role requires coordinating maintenance visits, monitoring workloads, and ensuring timely service closures.

Based at the Nutley office, the successful candidate will possess an associate degree or equivalent scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or communications with 2+ years planning and/or scheduling experience in a service, logistics, or manufacturing organization; or 5+ years of same experience.
• Experience in a field service or small business environment or similar industry experience a plus.
• SAP knowledge and experience working in the business system is preferred.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills and excel at multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and route Field Service Technicians based on customer priorities, workload demands, and material availability to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor and adjust technician assignments to accommodate dynamic service requests and changing priorities.
• Contact customers to coordinate planned maintenance visits and communicate schedule changes professionally and promptly.
• Partner with Field Service Technicians to ensure they have all necessary information to fulfill customer requests.
• Support service order closure by confirming documentation accuracy and completion.
• Continuously evaluate scheduling processes to improve productivity, minimize downtime, and enhance technician utilization.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We're seeking a Scheduling Analyst - Dispatcher to join our New Jersey - based team. In this role, you'll be responsible for organizing and optimizing the daily schedules of our Field Service Technicians to ensure outstanding customer service and efficient operations. You'll help fulfill service level agreements, drive technician productivity, and support the company's overall revenue and efficiency goals.

Additional responsibilities:

What You Need to Succeed

• An associate's degree preferably in business or communications with a minimum of two years of planning and/or scheduling experience in a service, logistics, or manufacturing organization; or a minimum of five years of same experience
• Experience in a field service or small business environment or similar industry experience a plus.
• SAP knowledge and experience working in the business system is preferred.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills and excel at multitasking.
• This is a 5-day onsite role based at our Nutley office, located at 136 Washington Avenue, New Jersey.
