Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an experienced LPN Scheduling Coordinator to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing staff schedules in accordance with applicable regulations and campus needs.

You will create the four-week master schedule, adjust staffing to match budget and census, manage PTO and shift trades, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires while participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years scheduling experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid LPN license.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Create the four-week Master schedule and post per policy.
• Adjust staffing based on budget, census, calls-offs, and leaves.
• Manage PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Generate postings and schedules (BIPA, daily/ monthly).
• Manage nursing hours and staff-to-census ratio.
• Oversee Time and Attendance, including attendance points and buy-backs.
• Utilize Smartlinx for posting/filling open shifts and messaging.
• Onboard new employees and review scheduling needs.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and participate in on-call rotation.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Assists the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the schedule for all nursing service department employees. Schedule nursing employees in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the health center as well as meeting customer service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates the campus' four (4) week Master set schedule and posts schedule in accordance with the Campus Hourly Scheduling policy.
• Makes staffing adjustments as needed according to budgetary constraints, census fluctuations, calls-offs, and pre-planned leaves.
• Manages, supports, and coordinates employees' PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Generates all required postings such as BIPA, daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
• Manages nursing hours (PPD) and proper staff ratio to census.
• Manages Time and Attendance, including Attendance points, buy-backs, and shift pick up incentives.
• Utilizes Smartlinx's functionality; including posting open shifts, filling open shifts, and employee messaging.
• Meets each new employee to review their schedule, ask what needs they have, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Provide direct patient care as needed and participate in the campus on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN license
• Current, valid CPR certification required
• 1-3 years prior experience in scheduling preferred.
