Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a scheduling-focused professional to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing service department at our Terre Haute location. This role emphasizes creating master schedules, posting postings, and managing staff hours to maintain appropriate nursing coverage.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree and 1–3 years of scheduling experience, with a focus on onboarding new staff and coordinating PTO and shift trades

Responsibilities

• Create the campus' four week Master set schedule and post schedule per Scheduling Standards.
• Generate postings such as BIPA, daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
• Manage nursing hours (PPD) and staff ratio to census.
• Oversee Time and Attendance, including attendance points, buy-backs, shift pickup incentives.
• Use Smartlinx features for posting open shifts, filling open shifts, PTO approval/denial and messaging.
• Coordinate employees' PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Meet new employees to review their schedule and ensure smooth onboarding.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Assists the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the health center.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates the campus' four (4) week Master set schedule and posts schedule in accordance with the Scheduling Standards policy.
• Generates all required postings such as BIPA, daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
• Manages nursing hours (PPD) and proper staff ratio to census.
• Manages Time and Attendance, including Attendance points, buy-backs, shift pickup incentives.
• Utilizes Smartlinx's functionality, including posting open shifts, filling open shifts, PTO approval/denial and employee messaging.
• Manages, supports, and coordinates employees' PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Meets each new employee to review their schedule, ask what needs they have, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
