The role emphasizes accuracy, patient-centered communication, and a proactive approach in a medical office environment with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in physician practice.
• At least 2 years of surgical scheduling experience.
• Healthcare background is strongly desirable.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete pre-operative and post-operative scheduling for the assigned physician.
• Coordinate scheduling of sites and appointments for all physicians; facilitate surgical dates with patients.

Job Summary

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Requires 1-3 years of experience in Medical Setting, preferably in Physician Practice
• Requires at least 2 years of surgical scheduling experience
• Healthcare background is strongly desirable
• EMR/EHR experience preferred, NextGen or Athena experience preferred

Other Qualifications

• Proficiency in a windows environment with a working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and the Internet is required
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a complex, matrix environment
