Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage complex appointment requests and coordinate patient needs with availability. The role requires extensive phone communication, data entry, and independent work in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in patient registration, scheduling, or customer service. Strong written and verbal communication are essential, with familiarity in medical terminology preferred.
Full Time (40 hours per week)
M-F (Must be able to work as early as 7:00am and as late as 6:00pm)
Includes working a Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00 noon approximately every 5 weeks
The scheduling coordinator role is responsible for coordinating services between patient's needs and availability.
