Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking a Production Scheduler in Michigan to translate orders into a sequential work schedule and coordinate across departments. You will analyze capacity data, plan workflows, and maintain production timelines while interfacing with supervisors and vendors.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. The shift is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a $2.00/hr shift premium.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of scheduling or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translates orders into a sequential work schedule.
• Analyzes production specifications and capacity data to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established sequences and lead times.
• Plans sequence of operations.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares production reports.
• May prepare lists and purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborates with internal and external personnel to implement and maintain services and programs.
• Gives scheduling support through team member and inter-office communications.

Position Summary:

Prepares production schedules for business unit or organization; draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

Position Responsibilities:

• Translates orders into a sequential work schedule.
• Analyzes production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times.
• Plans sequence of operations.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares production reports.
• May prepare lists and purchase orders to obtain required materials, tools, and equipment.
• Collaborates with internal and external personnel for the purpose of implementing and/or maintaining services and programs.
• Gives scheduling support through team member and inter-office communications.
• Examines production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Performs a variety of clerical duties and other duties as needed.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing Environment
• May lift up to 55 lbs.
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
