Job summary

Fox Factory is seeking a production scheduler to prepare and maintain master production schedules that align with forecasts and customer orders. You will translate orders into work sequences and coordinate with departments to meet deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, data analysis, and effective communication with supervisors and teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.

  • Collaborates with internal and external teams to implement services and programs.

Position Summary

Prepares production schedules for business unit or organization; draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

Position Responsibilities
  • Translates orders into a sequential work schedule.
  • Analyzes production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times.
  • Plans sequence of operations.
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepares production reports.
  • May prepare lists and purchase orders to obtain required materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Collaborates with internal and external personnel for the purpose of implementing and/or maintaining services and programs.
  • Gives scheduling support through team member and inter-office communications.
  • Examines production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties and other duties pertinent to Fox business.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
  • Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve complex data and issues.

Position Qualifications
Education
  • HS diploma or equivalent required
Experience

1+ years of scheduling or administrative experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing Environment
  • May lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
  • Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
