Job summary

Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio is seeking a Scheduler to manage the accurate scheduling of surgical and other procedures across our surgical and procedural areas.

You will coordinate with physicians, offices, and anesthesia teams, ensure equipment readiness, and handle updates and special requests. The role includes collecting patient data and training new staff as a preceptor.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Secretarial, computer and clerical skills acquired through formal education and training also preferred.
• Six months experience in office functions acquired through hospital or medical office work preferred. Ability to utilize basic office equipment, including computer terminals.
