Job summary

Azria Health Park Place in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a dedicated Medical Records/Central Supply Transportation candidate to join a compassionate team delivering quality resident care. The role spans central supply, medical records, and patient transportation duties.

You will stock supplies, perform data entry, assist in sterile processing, and help transport wheelchair-bound and ambulatory residents to appointments, while upholding high standards of service, safety, and resident comfort.

Responsibilities

• Central Supply: stock inventory and fill exchange, par and linen carts; data entry in supply systems to track, charge and credit supplies/equipment; stock Sterile Processing inventory/equipment; provide quality customer service.
• Medical Records: provide direct care according to resident treatment plans; participate in care assessments and restorative nursing; maintain current certification by attending training; deliver high quality care with kindness and compassion.
• Transportation: transport wheelchair-bound and ambulatory residents to appointments and other destinations; ensure safe and comfortable transfers.
• Additional responsibilities: adhere to facility policies and maintain accurate records.

We currently have an opening for a Medical Records/Central Supply Transportation candidate. The successful qualified candidate will be part of an incredible team that helps to ensure that each of our residents is given the best quality of care and wonderful stay that they expect and deserve.

Central Supply duties:

• Accurately stock inventory and fill exchange, par and linen carts to provide supplies to the end user
• Perform data entry in supply management systems to track, charge, and credit department and patient supplies/equipment.
• Receive and stock Sterile Processing Department inventory/equipment to ensure a ready supply for department use.
• Provide quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Medical Records duties:

• Provide direct care according to the individualized resident treatment plan
• Participate in resident care assessments and restorative nursing programs
• Maintain current certification by attending & participating in training and educational classes
• Deliver the highest quality of care possible to each resident, serving with kindness and compassion

Transportation Driver Requirements:

Drivers are responsible for transporting wheelchair-bound patients as well as Ambulatory patients and patients that may need assistance in getting to and from their medical appointments and / or any other destination.
