Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling principles, theories, and practices.
• Experience with time impact analysis, construction claims, and change orders.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites based on schedule and duties.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range is $120,000-$150,000, based on qualifications, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

• Identify schedule-related problems during project execution and recommend corrective actions and solutions.
• Conduct site visits for progress reporting.
• Review contractor schedules, prepare findings, and present to management.
• Evaluate contractor recovery schedules.
• Perform cost analysis during design and construction phases.
• Analyze expenditures versus budgets.
• Prepare cost-loaded schedules for cash flow projections.
• Interpret and apply contracts, policies, and procedures within Build LACCD guidelines.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Work flexibly across multiple sites as needed.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
