Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking a Scheduler for our Program Management Services Division in a hybrid role based in Orange, CT. You will create, implement, and maintain schedules for Gas Utility capital projects from initiation to closeout and perform critical path analysis, risk baselining, and earned value tracking.

Responsibilities include reporting on project metrics, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in project management or related field.
  • CAPM certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two years scheduling experience on civil/utility projects.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments and cost coding.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules through close-out.
  • Monitor performance using SPI, CPI, EVM and critical path analysis.
  • Verify cost information and ensure proper budgeting allocations.
  • Prepare regulatory and status reports and coordinate with stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking qualified candidates for an open Scheduler position in our Program Management division. This is a hybrid position working at our Client's Orange, Connecticut office. This position can be remote/hybrid. Please note that work type and location may be determined by the Company's contractual obligations and could change based on our Client's requirements.

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services. The Scheduler will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining project schedules for Gas Utility capital projects from initiation to closeout to meet the client's objectives. The Scheduler will perform critical path analysis, risk assessment and baselining; calculate SPI and CPI measures for earned value management and analyze results to track project variances for project performance reporting. The Scheduler works closely with the project team and will facilitate and attend cross functional meetings related to scope and project financials to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met. They are responsible for producing a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of our project planning and control initiatives. They play a key role in ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to.

Salary Range:$76,000 - $102,000

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in project management or related field
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Certified Assistant Project Manager (CAPM) certification
  • Minimum of two (2) years of scheduling experience
  • Experience in civil and/or utility projects
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience with Primavera/P6 and/or MS Project Intermediate or higher knowledge level of Excel SAP
  • Experience High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
