LaBella Associates is seeking a qualified Scheduler for the Program Management division in a hybrid role tied to our client’s Orange, Connecticut office. The position may be remote or hybrid depending on contractual obligations and client requirements.
The Scheduler will create, implement, and maintain schedules for Gas Utility capital projects, perform critical path analysis, risk assessment, and EVM measures, and prepare diverse reports to support project planning and control.
We are seeking qualified candidates for an open Scheduler position in our Program Management division. This is a hybrid position working at our Client’s Orange, Connecticut office. This position can be remote/hybrid. Please note that work type and location may be determined by the Company’s contractual obligations and could change based on our Client’s requirements.
The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services. The Scheduler will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining project schedules for Gas Utility capital projects from initiation to closeout to meet the client’s objectives. The Scheduler will perform critical path analysis, risk assessment and baselining; calculate SPI and CPI measures for earned value management and analyze results to track project variances for project performance reporting. The Scheduler works closely with the project team and will facilitate and attend cross functional meetings related to scope and project financials to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met. They are responsible for producing a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of our project planning and control initiatives. They play a key role in ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to.
Salary Range:$76,000 - $102,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
Develop and Maintain project schedules through project close-out.
Monitor project performance and report on various project metrics including; risk assessment, SPI, CPI & EVM, critical path, etc.
Verify accuracy of cost information – including confirmation that costs have been properly coded and allocated to the project budget
Prepare needed regulatory reporting and status reports Interaction and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders
Associate degree in project management or related field
Preference will be given to candidates with Certified Assistant Project Manager (CAPM) certification
Minimum of two (2) years of scheduling experience
Experience in civil and/or utility projects
Experience working in a highly regulated environment
Experience with Primavera/P6 and/or MS Project Intermediate or higher knowledge level of Excel SAP
Experience High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
