Job summary

Avantara Joliet is hiring a Scheduler, CNA Supervisor to ensure resident coverage and high-quality care. You will coordinate staffing, supervise CNAs, and support daily care routines under facility policies.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and Illinois CNA certification. Two years of relevant experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Illinois CNA certification in good standing preferred.
• Two years relevant experience preferred but potential for training considered.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff to ensure adequate nursing coverage for residents.
• Provide general supervision and guidance to CNAs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide education to CNAs as needed.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and monitor changes in condition.
• Maintain a master schedule and secure coverage for open shifts.

As a Scheduler you are instrumental in ensuring our residents have enough staff in the facility at all times to care for their needs. Your work as a CNA Supervisor will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Joliet is by providing general supervision of CNA’s, conducting performance evaluations, providing education to CNA’s as needed, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.our work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at by scheduling employees to meet our resident’s needs, maintaining a master schedule and securing coverage for open shifts when needed. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a certified nurse aide in the state of Illinois in good standing. Two (2) years of relevant experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
