A healthcare organization in Little Rock is seeking a Scheduler for their Central Referral Office. The role involves coordinating patient referrals, scheduling appointments, and managing clinical records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Salesforce. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting and possess strong organizational skills. This position may require overtime as necessary.
JOB SUMMARY: Working closely with the CRO Manager and the Director of Patient Access, utilizing EMR to coordinate inbound and outbound referrals for CARTI providers and services. Ensures appropriate medical records are provided with outbound and inbound referral order/request, based on agreed upon policy. When documents are not provided, conduct the necessary follow‑ups to obtain documents. Registers patient in Centricity and contacts patient to schedule appointment based on agreed upon scheduling policy by provider. Compiles new patient packet to send prior to new patient appointment (if applicable), updates Salesforce of all communication for appointment status tracking and notifies referring provider of patient appointment.

Must interact and communicate well both verbally and in written form. Must interact and exchange information regarding patients with physicians and other departmental personnel, and outside agencies on a frequent basis while respecting the confidentiality of patient information.
