At Mayville Engineering Company (MEC), getting the job done right means more than making a great product. It means having the right plan, the right priorities, and the right people working together to get orders out the door on time.

We’re looking for a Scheduler who enjoys solving puzzles, managing moving pieces, and keeping production on track. You’ll coordinate schedules across departments, monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks, and work with our teams to keep customer orders moving in the right direction.

If you’re organized, quick on your feet, and motivated by turning competing priorities into a plan that works, you could be a great fit at MEC.

Here’s Where You’ll Make a Difference

Keep the Plan on Track: Develop production schedules that establish the sequence and timing of operations to meet customer orders and shipping deadlines.

Think on Your Feet: Adjust schedules when unexpected challenges arise and help teams find practical ways to keep work moving.

Get Ahead of Delays: Investigate missed timelines, identify bottlenecks, and bring production constraints to the attention of the right teams.

Find the Best Path Forward: Work with planners and other stakeholders to evaluate scheduling challenges, coordinate revised timelines, and communicate changes.

Keep the Numbers Straight: Verify job quantities, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure production counts are accurate.

Turn Data Into Direction: Prepare weekly and monthly production reports that help teams understand progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Keep Customers in Mind: Balance production priorities, available resources, and customer deadlines to support reliable, on‑time delivery.

Clear communication skills, including the ability to share schedules, updates, and changes with different departments.

An understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and operational lead times.

The ability to recognize production equipment and workforce constraints when developing schedules.

A customer‑focused mindset and an understanding of the importance of meeting delivery commitments.
