Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in South El Monte, CA is seeking a Scheduler to maintain production flow by coordinating priorities, tracking work in process, and resolving constraints that affect schedule execution. • Ability to work directly with operators and supervisors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary scheduling point of contact for assigned resource groups.
• Monitors and manages work in process status for production jobs and ensures updates are accurately reflected in ERP systems.
• Prioritizes and expedites jobs affected by material, labor, tooling, or quality constraints.
• Coordinates priorities and communicates job status updates with supervisors, planners, and operations teams.
• Supports recovery efforts for late or high-priority orders.
• Assists with part staging, expediting, job sequencing, and reprioritization activities.
• Identifies production bottlenecks and escalates issues affecting delivery performance.
• Supports inventory cycle count activities as required.
