Job summary

Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, seeks a full-time experienced Procedure Scheduler for our Rocky Hill Care Center. You will schedule procedures and visits, update patient information, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth care delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with EMR systems. The role is in-person with a standard weekday schedule, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related scheduling experience.
  • Experience with an EMR system is ideal; Epic experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of professional experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and healthcare office routines.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule procedure and office visit appointments following CTGI policy and scripting.
  • Update insurance and demographic information when scheduling appointments and procedures.
  • Obtain cardiac clearance for procedures where warranted and follow up to ensure ASC has documentation.
  • Answer incoming phone lines, take messages, and route to correct provider or employee.
  • Assist with general office functions and support CTGI staff to ensure patient care and smooth operation.
