GEA Group is seeking a Scheduler based in the United States to create and manage production, work, and shipment schedules. You will forecast capacity, prioritize work orders, and coordinate with shop floor management to improve manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing/production planning or ERP experience, with a focus on lean improvements and cross-functional collaboration. Some travel to support transitions is expected.

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Manufacturing/Production Planning or Minimum 3 years' experience in use of an ERP system
  • Experience working in a job shop or engineer to order manufacturing setting is highly desired

  • Assist in solving production problems.

  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.

  • Actively identify and drive areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity improvements (lean initiatives)
  • Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to the planned production schedule.
  • Evaluate staffing needs to accommodate current and future production workflows.
  • Create and implement new tracking measures to improve workflows and efficiencies.
  • Participate and support Production excellence data gathering and input into global systems for reporting
  • Leads daily status update meetings to the workshop team

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between TBA per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not guaranteed compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as a discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.

Our Scheduler opportunity is a unique role that will allow you to learn more about GEA Nutrition Plant Engineering Technology and be a part of a new phase in our mission of delivering exceptional Technology to our customers.

Are you interested in learning about how the manufacturing business runs? Do you like reviewing and making decisions through data? Would you like to support the operation of a Metal Fabrication Production shop? Or do you possess current Scheduler skills but would like to expand your knowledge and take on a new challenge?

The role will have some cross over with initial start of work traveling to the Hudson, WI facility to support the Fabrication workshop's transition to Janesville, WI.
