US Oncology Inc. is seeking an entry-level Front Office Scheduler to handle patient appointments, calls, and basic insurance coordination in a busy clinic. You will serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth scheduling.
Responsibilities include confirming appointments, collecting co-pays, coordinating referrals, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting office workflows with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
SCOPE:Under direct supervision, responsible for scheduling patient appointments and tests in an efficient and timely manner. Answers all incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff. May include outside scheduling and/or surgical scheduling responsibilities. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
