Responsibilities

• Create baseline master project schedules from pre-construction to closeout using MS Project.
• Establish activity logic, WBS, predecessors/successors, lead/lag times.
• Update schedules and track progress (weekly/monthly).
• Monitor critical/near-critical paths to avoid delays.
• Perform Time Impact Analyses and review change orders.
• Develop recovery or acceleration schedules with field teams.
• Lead scheduling review meetings with PMs, Superintendents, and trades.
• Generate EVM metrics, S-curves, and dashboards for updates.
• Analyze labor and resource loading to match site capacity.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Schedule Manager for a temporary assignment in San Antonio, Texas.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00 - $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Key Responsibilities:

• Baseline Schedule Creation: Build dynamic, detailed master project schedules from pre-construction to closeout using MS Project.
• Logic & Sequencing: Establish accurate activity logic, predecessor/successor relationships, lead/lag times, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly Updates: Progress-update master schedules by tracking field productivity, milestone achievements, and subcontractor site activities.
• Critical Path Analysis: Monitor and analyze critical and near-critical paths to identify potential bottlenecks before they impact project completion dates.
• Delay Impact Assessments: Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and delay forensic reviews to evaluate change orders, claims, and scope modifications.
• Mitigation Strategies: Work directly with field teams to develop recovery or acceleration schedules (e.g., fast-tracking or crashing activities) when delays occur.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead regular scheduling review meetings with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trade Contractors to align on short-term look-aheads (e.g., 3-week look-ahead schedules).
• Progress Dashboarding: Generate Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, S-curves, and progress dashboards for executive updates and owner/client reporting.
• Labor & Resource Tracking: Analyze resource loading (manpower, equipment, materials) to ensure trade labor availability aligns with site capacity and baseline targets.
