Job summary

Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, FL, seeks a Scene Shop Supervisor to lead construction, rigging, and dry tech for every production. The role collaborates with the Assistant Technical Director to develop build schedules, supervise staff, and maintain safety and quality standards in a busy scene shop.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the capacity to work evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in scenic construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scenic construction, rigging, and dry tech for productions.
• Collaborate with Technical Director on drawings and build schedules.
• Supervise seasonal staff and maintain shop safety.
• Assist with load-ins and strikes.
