Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Content Editing Specialist responsible for light restoration, quality assurance, and digital editing of media for conversions. This role involves working hands-on with technology to sanitize and prepare digital content sent from families nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform light restoration and quality assurance editing on media for conversions.
2. Handle digital content editing and sanitization using specialized programs and Final Cut Pro, including scene segmentation, merging, deleting, and cleaning files from videotapes and film reels.
3. Convert home film reels/videos and photos to digital formats using in-house hardware and software.
4. Manage workflow for assigned workstations, ensuring efficient processing of home movie conversions.
5. Analyze order notes in the database to determine appropriate workflows.
6. Audit orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity and customer privacy.
7. Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Full-Time: 40 hours/week
• Shift Options: 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd Shift (10pm-6am) with a $1 differential for 3rd shift
• On-site location in North Scottsdale, 101 & Via De Ventura
• Starting pay: $17/hour with quarterly or 90-day raises; overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with digital media editing (1-2 years preferred)
• Background in Super 8, 8mm, or 16mm film preferred
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Sony Vegas (preferred)
• Knowledge of various digital file formats (MP4, MOV, AVI, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, positive attitude, team player
• Reliable transportation

Education

• High School diploma or GED required
