Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing SCDOT projects and leading field teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and provisions for DOT projects.
  • Capability to program GPS devices for equipment and rovers; strong logistics sense.
  • Must obtain negative drug test; valid driver's license and clean MVR.
  • Proven leadership, safety focus, and budget optimization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations across multiple projects ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, and testing firms; attend progress meetings.
  • Direct crews and subcontractors; manage equipment and trucking needs.
  • Maintain daily logs, queues, and punch lists; ensure DOT compliance.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; monitor quality control.
