Job summary

Coborn's is seeking an experienced Scanning & Receiving Specialist to lead scanning, receiving, and inventory accuracy across our retail locations. You will be the subject matter expert and work with Store Operations, Merchandising, IT, and Distribution.

You will coach Store Scanning Coordinators and Receiving Managers, develop policies, and drive improvements in pricing integrity and compliance. This role requires travel up to 60% locally, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for hands-on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail operations experience with scanning and receiving expertise.
• Experience auditing processes, evaluating performance, and identifying improvements.
• Experience coaching and supporting operational teams and leaders.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for scanning and receiving programs and systems.
• Develop and improve policies, procedures, standards, training, and best practices.
• Champion initiatives that strengthen scanning accuracy, pricing integrity, receiving execution, and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct store visits and operational audits to evaluate processes, monitor compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze performance trends and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
• Partner with leaders to develop action plans that strengthen execution and accountability.
• Coach and mentor Store Scanning Coordinators and Receiving Managers to strengthen knowledge and execution.
• Provide operational support during new initiatives, system enhancements, and transitions.
• Deliver training and serve as the chain management lead for new programs and best practices.
