Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Ogden, UT is seeking a Scanner/material handler to maintain inventory accuracy and support the production line. You will operate a scanner, track material staging, and assign items to work orders in real time while ensuring labeling, counting, and safe handling.

The role runs on the 2nd shift (5:00 pm–1:30 am, Mon–Fri with some Saturdays) and starts at $25.99 per hour. Bring 1–2 years of warehouse experience and forklift know‑how to join a team focused on food safety and

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Forklift experience and valid Utah Driver’s License
• Basic computer skills; handheld scanners preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production to ensure material is staged for current work order and upcoming changeovers
• Allocate material pulled from staging locations to the correct work order in real time
• Verify inventory accuracy for all materials in staging locations
• Ensure pallets from production are labeled, stacked, wrapped, and returned to warehouse location
• Perform end of shift pallet reconciliation with distribution lead
• Count, receive, and store items in designated locations
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Cycle counting of inventory locations
• Support food safety, food quality, and food defense
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description:

About the Role:

The scanner/material handler is responsible for the proper inventory control and accuracy of the staging areas to and from production department. This includes working with a scanner and computer to keep inventory accurate and work order allocation correct. You will add value by performing the following duties including but not limited to:

• Coordinating with production to ensure material is staged for current work order and for upcoming changeovers
• Allocating material pulled from staging locations to the correct work order (real-time)
• Verifying inventory accuracy for all materials in the staging locations
• Ensure all pallets coming from production are accurately labeled, stacked and wrapped, and correctly returned to a warehouse location
• Perform end of shift pallet reconciliation with distribution lead
• Accurately count, receive, and store items in specific location
• Maintain a clean safe work area
• Cycle counting inventory locations.
• Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense
• Other duties as assigned

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

Pay:

Starting at $25.99/Hr.

About You:
