Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team in Boardman, OH. The role reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead and involves organizing products by auction, assisting in quality checks, and keeping the scanning area efficient.

The position requires being on-site, lifting up to 50 lbs with a team, and standing for long periods. Introductory benefits include health coverage after 60 days and weekly pay, with additional 401(k) options after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process.
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly.
• Move products to the bays, placing them on shelves by auction and lot number.
• Assist the team in meeting quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.
