Job summary

MAC.BID in Ohio is seeking a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for scanning and to remove scanned items, following our system. The role reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead and requires on-site work, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds with team lifts, basic testing of electronics, and moving products to suitable locations for processing. Join a team focused on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with team lift.
• Tech-savvy and able to follow written directions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process.
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly.
• Move products to the bays, placing them by auction and lot number.
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB OVERVIEW

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
