A scan coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring price accuracy and maintaining the integrity of product information within a retail store.
Scan Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of their workstations.
- Verifying prices, barcodes, and signage, updating price changes, and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage computerized records and may be involved in customer service including performing cashier duties.
- Check pricing by sorting and verifying shelf tags/signs before you hang them.
- Assuring that signs and tags are up on all displays, ends and shelves.
- Check emails daily with and communicate with DSD vendors about promotions and Ads.
- Performs other related duties as required.
The receivers are responsible for unloading and inspecting delivered goods to ensure that all products ordered are received by the organization.
Receiver Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of their workstations.
- Check in all DSD (Direct Store Delivery) by verifying that all items are accurate on receiving counts and dollar amount that is in the SMS system.
- Manage computerized records and may be involved in customer service including performing cashier duties.
- Check Vendor Sections... BACKSTOCK and SALES FLOOR.
- Assist Scan Coordinator with tags and signs after receiving hours.
- Performs other related duties as required.
