Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd locally owned and operated in Hawai`i is hiring a Scan Coordinator in Honolulu. This full-time hourly role focuses on maintaining price integrity, executing weekly price changes, updating signs, and assisting with cashier duties as needed.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, 18+ with high school or equivalent, and prior retail/cash handling experience is a plus. A comprehensive benefits package is offered; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully pass math test.
• Retail customer service and cash handling experience preferred
• TB Clearance required
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall price integrity in the store.
• Conduct weekly price changes and update shelf signs, tags, and promotional signs.
• Assist with office clerk duties in Customer Service Counter and perform cashier duties as needed.
• Work with computers, adding machines, cash registers, and store intercoms to contact departments.

Scan Coordinators are responsible for maintaining overall price integrity in their store. They conduct weekly price changes, including changing shelf signs and tags, promotional signs, and Maika’i signs. They may also assist with office clerk duties in the Customer Service Counter and must be able to perform all duties of a cashier. Office clerks work with computers, adding machines, cash register systems, and frequently use the store intercoms to make announcements and to contact various departments.
