Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly in southeastern Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant to our Scan Coordinator for a part-time role with scan duties and some cashiering hours.

Reporting to the Store Director, you will price merchandise, print and hang price tags, run reports, and maintain pricing integrity while delivering friendly customer service.

Job description

This position is to be an Assistant to our Scan Coordinator. It is a part‑time position with scan duties and some cashiering hours.

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly is a 100% employee‑owned grocery chain with 10 locations in southeastern Wisconsin. We have been awarded “Top Workplace” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for several years in a row. Here is a snapshot of the duties you can expect:

SCOPE OF POSITION

Reporting directly to the Store Director, is responsible for accurate retail pricing, printing and hanging of price tags and signs.

BASIC FUNCTION

Ensures timely, accurate and efficient pricing of retail merchandise and maintains pricing integrity. Verifies prices and prints price tags and signs. Runs reports as required.

POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience working with merchandising in a retail/grocery environment.
2. Able to multi‑task, learn computer programs and perform practices and procedures within a retail/grocery environment.
3. Be self‑directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example.
4. Good attention to detail and follow‑through skills.
5. Good customer relations skills.
6. Meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements.
7. Ability to run a cash register.
8. Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment.)
9. Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules, overtime and weekends required.
10. Meet Physical Requirements.
