Position Overview

The Scaled Agile Application Delivery Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the delivery of software applications within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that software products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with business objectives. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective communication, and meticulous planning and execution of delivery activities.

Role in RTX Corporate Enterprise Services

Engineering and Technology Application Services (ETAS) is seeking a Scaled Agile Test Coordinator responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within a SAFe environment. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and business alignment, with collaboration across teams and effective communication.

Responsibilities

1. Create and execute detailed test plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, aligned with SAFe principles.
2. Support test cycles and maintain delivery schedules using Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
3. Facilitate test cycles, conduct meetings, and provide test metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
4. Implement and enforce change control processes for proper review, approval, and documentation of changes.
5. Track and report automated testing results with Cucumber and Gherkin to improve deployment efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications - Must Have

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Test Lead or similar role in an Agile environment.
2. Experience transitioning manual tests to automated frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
3. Strong communication skills for effective documentation and discussion with technical and non-technical teams.
4. Experience with Agile applications supporting software release and delivery, including Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Examples of continuous improvement in enterprise software release processes.
2. 3+ years experience in Scaled Agile processes.
3. Understanding of Engineering/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and concepts.
4. Ability to analyze and design business processes and stay current with industry trends.
5. Post-delivery support experience for end users.

Salary Range

$82,000 - $164,000 USD. Compensation considers experience, role, education, skills, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), flexible spending, paid time off, holidays, and potential incentive programs depending on performance and business needs.
