Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking team members to support our production operations in the Springfield, MO area. You will maintain a clean work area, operate production equipment, and participate in safety programs.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions. Experience with metal sorting is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with metal sorting a plus.
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 lbs or more.
• Standing for long periods in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
