Job summary

Bee Green Recycling & Supply is seeking a Scale Operator at our Oakland facility. You will be the first point of contact for customers, identify and inspect loads, and ensure compliance with permit regulations.

The role requires reliability, initiative, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include weighing, ticketing, cashier duties, and maintaining daily logs while upholding our values of safety and service.

THE POSITION

A Scale Operator is the first point of contact for customers at our recycling facility. The Scale Operator develops and maintains positive customer relations and ensures that the facility is in compliance with load regulations under our permit. This is a very fast paced work environment that involves standing a majority of the shift. Position requires candidates to be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking - must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy recycling facility.

Must Have

• Strong attention to detail to prevent data entry errors, or to catch and correct them
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced recycling facility
• At least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the Unites States
