Job summary

Bee Green Recycling & Supply in Oakland, CA is seeking a Scale Operator to be the first point of contact at our recycling facility. This role builds positive customer relations, records weights, and ensures load compliance under our permit in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires trustworthiness, reliability, initiative, and teamwork. You will operate cashier duties and use software to issue tickets and logs while maintaining data accuracy.

Responsibilities

THE POSITION:

A Scale Operator is the first point of contact for customers at our recycling facility. The Scale Operator develops and maintains positive customer relations and ensures that the facility is in compliance with load regulations under our permit. This is a very fast paced work environment that involves standing a majority of the shift. Position requires candidates to be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking – must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy recycling facility.
