Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Scale Operator to ensure timely tickets and coordinate truck dispatch for peak efficiency across projects. You will manage ticket accuracy, handle COD collection, and keep disciplined records daily.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, possible Weigh Master License in some states, and basic computer skills with hardware/software understanding. Competitive benefits apply.

• Collects COD money and records it properly.
• Sends transaction register and ticket copies to main office daily.
• Transfers files and ticket transfer files at least twice daily.
• Answers phones and takes messages for absent colleagues.
• Tares trucks (empty weight) weekly and records tons sold by product.
• Maintains product knowledge to answer customer questions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Provides timely and accurate tickets to customers ensuring the smooth flow of traffic across the scale, and assists in the coordination of truck dispatch orders to ensure maximum efficiency of trucking.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs with orders received from Dispatch Office and operates computerto produce appropriate customer tickets.
• Verifies tickets for numbers, date and time accuracy.
• Collects COD money and properly records it.
• Sends transaction register and ticket copies to main office on daily basis.
• Transfers all files andtickets transfer files at least twice daily.
• Answers phones and takes accurate messages for others intheir absence.
• Tares trucks (empty weight) on weekly basis and records as appropriate as well as maintainsaccurate records of tons sold by product.
• Maintains product knowledge necessary to answer customer questions.
• Performs housekeepingduties to ensure that scale house is clean and orderly.
• Assists Plant employees as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required Training/Certifications: Weigh Master License may be required in some states.
• Required Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and understanding of hardware/software.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
